The Children’s Garden at Elmhurst Presbyterian Church

Growing to Give.

A big thank you to all who donated plants, seeds, compost, gloves, hand rakes, etc. Thanks to Phil Beitler, Tim and Stephanie Kohlmeyer for help with the auger and fence posts, Sue Kramer and Pauline DeWitte for their donations, encouragement and hands to help. Thanks to Doug Hall for supplying, cutting and helping to lay the landscape fabric for the walkways, and to Craig Happel who helped this dream become a reality. It was great to see all the parents and children out there on May 27th planting seeds. Thanks to all for your support! This is a new beginning for the children at EPC as they grow vegetables to donate to those in need. If you’re near the children’s garden, take some time to water the garden, or pick a weed.
